• Gazprom announces a new drastic cut in gas deliveries to Europe. The Russian gas giant announced on Monday July 25 that it would drastically reduce from Wednesday, to 33 million cubic meters daily, deliveries of Russian gas to Europe via the Nord Stream gas pipeline, arguing the need for maintenance operations of a turbine. This represents approximately 20% of the gas pipeline’s capacity, whereas it is currently only used at 40%.
• Berlin denounces a political decision after Gazprom’s announcement and ensures that there is “no technical reason” to further reduce deliveries of Russian gas. The German government considers this to be a ” pretext “ and a decision ” Politics “ to influence Westerners. The Russian energy company invoked the need for maintenance operations on a turbine on this gas pipeline which links Russia to Germany.

• Russian missiles hit the port of Odessa on Saturdayaccording to Ukraine, which accuses Vladimir Putin of having “spit in the face” of the United Nations (UN) and Turkey, and jeopardize the application of the agreement signed the day before on the resumption of grain exports blocked by the war. Thirteen cruise missiles fired from the sea fell near the town of Kropyvnytskyi in the Oblast of Kirovogradin the center of the country, announced its governor, Andri Raikovych, specifying that railway infrastructures and a military aerodrome had been targeted.
• On the ground, in the region of Khersonlargely occupied by Russian troops since March 3, the Ukrainians say they are stepping up their counterattack. “We can talk about a turnaround on the ground. His German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, for his part considered that the Russian war in Ukraine was also “a war against the unity of Europe”.
