Reduction of Jews entering the Cave of the Patriarchs

The director of the Cave of the Patriarchs announced today (Sunday) due to the outbreak of the Muslim month of Ramadan, that the Cave of the Patriarchs will be closed to Jews on the following dates:

– Friday, April 7, 2002

– Friday the 14th of Nisan 5742 15.4.22 (Passover eve)

– Friday the 21st of Nisan 5722 22.4.22 (seventh of Pesach)

– Tuesday, April 25, 2002. The cave will open the next day, Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m.

– Friday, April 28, 2002

– Monday, May 2, 2002

Prayers and visits at these times will be held in the Seventh Step Square. There may be changes in the final closing dates. It is recommended to update and coordinate visits in advance with the director of the Cave of the Patriarchs.
