According to the reform, starting with the 2018 academic year (starting in October 2022) the real estate appraiser profession will be taught as part of an academic degree in the real estate appraiser track that includes an up-to-date curriculum in real estate appraisals written by a professional committee headed by the chief government appraiser, Ohad Eini and approved by the Real Estate Appraiser Council So far, seven academic institutions have submitted for the approval of the council a new study program in Shamaot (Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, Bar Ilan University, Ariel University, the academic track – the College of Administration, the Rupin Academic Center and the Ono Academic College).
