Reform Judaism in the new Italian synagogues

MILANO. A thousand members, seven synagogues. Often tiny, little more than a room. Their names are Beth Hillel in Rome, Lev Chadash and Beth Shalom in Milan, Shir Hadash in Florence, Or Ammim in Bologna, Beth Israel in Turin, Har Sinai in Bergamo.

They are the vanguard of Reform Judaism in Italy, progressive, according to the English diction, the opposite, that is, of orthodoxa very widespread liberal movement in the United States and in Israel, very little known until recently in our country.
