jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy General Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid or Gus Jazil said that his political party will nominate an internal cadre, namely Muhammad Yusuf Chudlori or Gus Yusuf to contest the 2024 Central Java (Jateng) Pilkada.
He said this in response to questions from media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/7) regarding the figure that PKB will support in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada.
“We have broken up. We are pushing Gus Yusuf,” said Gus Jazil, Tuesday.
He said that PKB continues to move to find coalition partners so that it can nominate candidates in the Central Java Pilkada and Gus Yusuf has been assigned to communicate with PKS.
“Gus Yusuf is currently paying a courtesy call to PKS, previously to another party. That’s a coalition, after that who is his running mate,” said the legislator from Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
Gus Jazil said that the matter of nominating candidates for the 2024 Central Java Pilkada was still dynamic, like in Jakarta, and parties continued to communicate.
“Everything is still dynamic in Central Java. It’s almost similar to Jakarta. Nothing has crystallized yet,” he said.
It is known that PKB’s stance in nominating candidates for the 2024 Central Java Pilkada which prioritizes internal cadres is different from Gerindra.
