jpnn.com – Gerindra General Chairman Prabowo Subianto and the political party with the Garuda head symbol do not have any problems with any party, even though they have different paths with the parties in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) in nominating candidates in several regions in the 2024 regional elections.
This was conveyed by Gerindra Secretary General Ahmad Muzani when answering questions from media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (16/7).
“In principle, since the beginning, Mr Prabowo, including the Gerindra Party, has had no problems in relations with any political party,” said Muzani, Tuesday (16/7).
He said that the coalition built by Gerindra in the 2024 West Sumatra (Sumbar) Pilkada was also not a problem even though it did not involve the party in KIM.
It is known that Gerindra and PKS decided to form a coalition in the 2024 West Sumatra Pilkada by nominating Mahyeldi-Vasko Ruseimy.
“For example, in West Sumatra, we are together with PKS, it is not a serious problem,” said Muzani.
The Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI said that Gerindra and Prabowo in principle want to maintain good relations between parties in the KIM for the smooth running of the future government.
“We want the togetherness that we will build to be part of the togetherness that he (Prabowo, ed.) will also build during his time as president,” he said.
