jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) is conducting an investigation after complaints emerged about the presence of the Acting Governor of NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi at a Golkar Party event.
This seems to have been expressed by the Indonesian Bawaslu Prevention Division Coordinator Lolly Suhenty when contacted last Friday (19/4).
“Currently, the NTB Province Bawaslu is investigating, just wait for the results of their investigation,” said Loly when asked for information, Friday (19/4).
The alumnus of IAIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung continued that the NTB Province Bawaslu immediately carried out an investigation after information emerged about Lalu Gita’s presence at the Golkar event.
“Since yesterday, when there was information circulating, the provincial Bawaslu held a plenary session, to shed light on the case, an investigation was carried out. Just wait for the results,” said Loly.
Previously, a photo circulated showing Lalu Gita’s presence, wearing a yellow shirt, attending a Golkar Party event.
In one moment, Lulu Gita was even seen taking a group photo while shaking fists with other Golkar cadres.
In another photo, an attachment to a letter dated April 4 2024, signed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, includes the name Lalu Gita as candidate for governor or cawagub. (ast/jpnn)
