Il “Summer Tour 2024” Of Paul Belli stops at Reggio Calabria.
The appointment with the singer and his Big Band is for Sunday 15 September at 9.30 pm at Lungomare Italo Falcomatà. The concert is part of the program of the “Reggio Live Fest”, the festival conceived and organized by Roger Pegnawith the contribution of Calabria Region for the Calabria Straordinaria brand, Metropolitan City and Municipality of Reggio, scheduled from 11 to 17 September at Lungomare Italo Falcomatà with free admission.
Paul Belli brings a renewed show to the stage, with his great classics on the lineup such as Ladri di Biciclette, Sotto questo sole, Dr Jazz & Mr Funk, Hey Signorina Mambo, Ho voglia di Ballare, and many other hits arranged in a new guise, but still characterised by his unmistakable sound, the result of a journey made over the last 25 years always alongside his Big Banda close-knit group that collaborates with Paolo not only on stage during the summer season, but also in his TV and theatre commitments.
After a winter season full of satisfactions that saw him collect unanimous critical and public acclaim in theaters throughout Italy with Pur di far Commedia, a brilliant theatrical show written with Alberto di Risio which, in a renewed guise, will return to the bill in 2025, the summer concert season also proved to be a triumph, with squares packed with enthusiastic audiences from north to south of our peninsula.
Paolo Belli’s concert is music and fun, an irresistible mix of music, songs and words that excites and makes his audience the protagonist, an audience of all ages that has never failed to show the singer from Emilia affection and esteem throughout a career that has now lasted 35 years.
The Paolo Belli Big Band is composed of: Mauro Parma on drums, Enzo Proietti on piano and keyboards, Gaetano Puzzutiello on double bass and electric bass, Peppe Stefanelli on percussion, Paolo Varoli on guitar, Pierluigi Bastioli and Daniele Bocchini on trombone, Davide Ghidoni and Nicola Bertoncin on trumpet, Marco Postacchini and Gabriele Costantini on saxophone, Juan Carlos Albelo Zamora on violin and harmonica.
