Regime suspends José Manuel Urbina Lara as lawyer and notary public

The Ortega regime, through the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), suspended José Manuel Urbina Lara from his title as lawyer and notary public on Tuesday, May 23.

Through a circular, the CSJ informed the decision in which they suspend the titles of the criminal, who is currently listed as one of the political prisoners in Nicaragua.

Urbina Lara is part of a list of 27 lawyers who have been suspended by the Ortega regime from practicing their profession in Nicaragua.

On May 11, the regime suspended 25 lawyers and notaries public Nicaraguans who had already been stripped of their nationality and declared “traitors to the homeland.”

The first affected by the new escalation of repression in Nicaragua was Yonarqui Martínez, who has been a lawyer for political prisoners and a human rights defender.

A political prisoner of the dictatorship

The criminal Urbina Lara is part of the list of 36 political prisoners maintained by the regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo.
