Athletes participating in a swimming competition.
The regional level swimming competition was held on Saturday at the Kundavai Swimming Pool at the Annai Satya Stadium in Thanjavur District Swimming Club.
The competition will be run by Additional Rule (Revenue) NO. Sukaputra started. More than 400 athletes from Thanjavur, Nagaon, Thiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukottai, Ariyalur and Perambalur districts participated in the event.
The competitions were held in 6 categories namely 7 year olds, 8, 9 years olds, 10,11 years olds, 12 to 14 years olds, 15 to 17 years olds and 17 years olds.
The competitions were held in 25m, 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Competitions were held in the 200m freestyle, 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle for those over 17 years of age.
