After the success of the two previous editions with the presence of nearly 250 federated and popular triathletes, in addition to the txiki test, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Duathlon will be held on October 8 without changes in its route. The test will present the sprint distance format for federated members. There will be 5 kilometers on foot, 20 kilometers by bicycle and 2.5 kilometers on foot again for a race that will also be valid for the Álava championship. The popular ones will cover the super sprint distance: 2.5 kilometers on foot, 13 by bicycle and 2.5 kilometers on foot again.

This year federated cadets will also be able to participate. Registration can be made on the website www.duatlonvitoriagasteiz.com There will be reduced prices until August 31, with 10 euros for cadets, 20 for popular athletes and 25 for federated members. From September 1 to October 2, the cost of registration will increase by 5 euros. The txiki test will be free.

The organization will enable 200 federated numbers and 200 for popular ones. The foot race will start at the dome of the Buesa Arena. Then head towards the Ataria area, Salburua (behind the Bakh), turn towards the Paseo de los Humedales, Portal de Zurbano, go around the Buesa Arena pavilion and return to the parking lot to reach the dome again where the transition will take place. In total, the route consists of 2.5 kilometers.

The bicycle circuit will start from the dome of the Buesa Arena to the last roundabout of Portal de Zurbano and will continue along the Zurbano road without reaching the crossroads. There it will turn 180 degrees, to return to the Portal Zurbano road to extend the route to the Portal Bergara roundabout with a 180 degree turn to return to Portal de Zurbano towards the Los Humedales promenade roundabout. Upon reaching Cuenca del Deba street, turn left onto Boulevard de Salburua up to Avenida 8 de marzo and make a 180 degree turn to return along Boulevard de Salburua and join the Paseo de Humedales. Arriving to the right at Portal de Zurbano and arriving at the beginning of the circuit that consists of 6,700 kilometers.
