An open call to Gianniotopoulos to join its ranks, testing their capabilities in the charming but demanding sport of rowing, in which the Ioannina have many and great distinctions to show, the Nautical Club of Ioannina addresses.
Boys and girls born in the years 2011–2013 are accepted this year, whose training takes place daily, evenings and weekends.
The N.O.I. has training departments of all levels from the category of beginner athletes to the category of Men – Women. The training sessions take place under the strict supervision of the experienced and specialized technical staff of the Club in the wet track of Pamvotida, but also in the fully equipped indoor facilities of N.O.I.
Before entering the lake, novice rowers go through an introductory stage of learning to row, held at the N.O.I. and PEAKI, and includes, among other things, a fitness test and a swimming test.
The selection of athletes for the beginner divisions is made through an appointment with the responsible coaches at the Association’s facilities (Limnopoula, entrance from the Camping on G. Papandreou Avenue). Appointments are held weekdays, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
