Arriving in Reims in August 2023, Benoît Lemaire, former secretary general of the Loiret prefecture and sub-prefect of Orléans, succeeded his predecessor for a three-year mandate. To succeed him,Fayçal Douhane,until now sub-prefect of Cambrai (North),was appointed sub-prefect of Reims for an initial period of three years. originally from Grenoble, this experienced senior civil servant has held several positions in territorial administration, notably in the prefecture and within state services.
“His rich experience in territorial administration will be a valuable asset to continue the action of the State in the most populous district of the department”, estimates the prefecture of Marne in a press release.
