Rejection of Tamil Nadu decorative vehicles on Republic Day

by time news

The Central Government has denied permission for a decorative vehicle in Tamil Nadu during the Republic Day celebrations of India.

In the southern states all state ornamental vehicles except Karnataka have been rejected.

The 72nd Republic Day of India will be celebrated on the 26th.

For this, the Republic Day celebrations are usually held in Delhi every year with 1.25 lakh spectators.

Due to the corona spread last year, only 25,000 people were allowed to attend the ceremony. Similarly, due to the high incidence of corona in Delhi this year, only 24,000 people have been allowed to attend the Republic Day celebrations.

The Republic Day parade usually features decorative vehicles with pictures of freedom fighters representing each state.

In that sense, this year the Central Government has rejected the decorative vehicle of Tamil Nadu containing the images of Velunacharya and Bharathiar.

Federal officials have reportedly rejected the notion that they expect the most popular freedom fighters and that international leaders do not know people like Velunacharya.
