Abu Dhabi: (www.kvartha.com) UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan releases 737 prisoners on Eid al-Adha. Those who have committed petty crimes and financial crimes are released as part of their good behavior. The President said that he will undertake and pay their financial obligations.
Shaikh Khalifa said the aim is to provide an opportunity for the prisoners to start a new chapter in their lives and contribute positively to the upliftment of their families and society. Those who have been sentenced for various crimes will be released through the announcement.
Meanwhile, the Sharjah ruler has also ordered the release of 194 prisoners. The action is part of the humanitarian consideration of the UAE rulers based on the values of patience and tolerance. The officials also stated that they have instructed to prepare the conditions for the prisoners to reach their families as soon as possible.
