Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Health Department has issued revised Corona guidelines to be followed at airports as well.

Preventive measures are being taken in hospitals across the country to prevent the spread of the new type of corona virus in India. Subsequently, warnings have been issued to ensure that people are safe, and checks have been ordered at airports and foreign travelers are being checked.

Subsequently, the Tamil Nadu Public Health Department has issued revised Corona guidelines to be followed at all the 4 international airports of Tamil Nadu.

Accordingly, it has been informed that those coming from China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand and Japan should have taken RT-PCR test 72 hours before entering the airport or have a corona negative certificate.

Apart from this, it has been mentioned that the old guidelines will continue, passengers arriving at all 4 airports namely Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy should have completed the corona vaccination sessions, passengers arriving with symptoms of infection should be quarantined immediately and 2 percent of the passengers will be randomly tested for corona. .

All passengers are advised to report any symptoms upon exiting the airport by calling 104 or the nearest medical facility, and children under 12 will be treated according to standard guidelines, although there is no screening.
