Reliance Industries has reported a net profit of Rs 17,806 crore for the December 2022 quarter.
Reliance Industries, which flies the flag in various businesses ranging from crude oil to telecom business, has released its December quarter financial results. Reliance Industries reported a net profit of Rs 17,806 crore for the December 2022 quarter. This is 13.30 percent lower than the December 2021 quarter. Reliance Industries posted a net profit of Rs 20,539 crore in the quarter.
Reliance Industries has generated an operating income of Rs 2.20 lakh crore in the December 2022 quarter. This is 15.32 percent higher than the December 2021 quarter. Reliance Industries earned an operating income of Rs 1.91 lakh crore in the quarter. Reliance Industries subsidiary Jio Platforms posted a net profit of Rs 4,881 crore and an operating income of Rs 24,892 crore for the December 2022 quarter.
In the quarter of December 2022, Jio provided 53 lakh new connections on net basis. Jio’s average revenue per subscriber rose to Rs 178.20 in the last December quarter. Reliance Industries shares fell 1.15 percent to Rs 2,442.70 on the BSE on Friday.
