New Delhi: Reliance Industries, the country’s most valuable company led by Mukesh Ambani, has announced to give one bonus share on one share to its investors. The company’s board has approved it. Now the question arises that what will be its record date? According to historical data, its record date can be in October. Reliance Industries has previously announced bonus issues in 1980, 1983, 1997, 2009 and 2017. The company is going to give a gift to its investors again after seven years. But the company says that its record date will be informed separately. Reliance announced the bonus issue in 2017 on 21 July and its record date was 9 September. Before that, in the year 2009, the company announced the issue on 7 October and its record date was 27 November. Talking about the issue of 1997, it was announced on 13 September and its record date was 29 November. It is clear from this that there is usually a gap of 40-50 days between the company’s announcement and the record date. If this pattern continues, the record date for the 2024 bonus issue may be after October 20.
