Remco Evenepoel, world time trial champion – International Cycling

Remco Evenepoel won the individual time trial world championship, 47.8 kilometers starting and finishing in Stirling in which he made good his favoritism.

Ryan Mullen marked the first notable referential (58:21), for which he was in the hot seat for a long time. Recently Derek Gee, with all the favorites en route, was able to improve the Irishman’s time, thanks to his 58:17. The Canadian did not last long, because Joshua Tarling arrived and erased him from the list with 56:07.

But on the way, Ganna and Evenepoel traveled, improving the intermediates of the young Briton. Pippo managed to overcome him with an excellent 55:31, but shortly after Remco entered and was crowned world champion with 55:19.

The Belgian commented that he had taken advantage of the second half of the track, more undulating, to overtake the Italian.
