Jhansi based theater artist and actor Sunder Likhar has also worked in this film. While talking to Navbharat Times, he told that working with Aamir Khan Production has been a very memorable experience for him. Sundar Likhar also told in this conversation that he met Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan during the shooting of ‘Lapata Ladies’. How was it? He says, ‘It is a very proud opportunity for any artist to work in a film and be sent for the Oscars.’

Sundar said- I auditioned many times even for small roles.

Sunder Likhar has played a small role of an MLA in ‘Missing Ladies’. He says, ‘Even for this small character, I had to pass auditions several times. I have done half a dozen films in Bundeli language before this. Have also done three-four television serials. This is my third film in Bollywood.

The actor told that he has worked with veteran artist Sanjay Mishra in the film ‘Amma Ki Boli’. Apart from this, he also worked in a family film named ‘Atkan Chatkan’. He considers it a privilege to be associated with the ‘Missing Ladies’.

When Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan met

When Sundar was asked about his experiences during the shooting, he said, ‘When I was cast and I reached the set, I met director Kiran Rao and producer Aamir Khan. Believe me, when I met him, somehow I felt that there were such great people in front of me. This is because both are very simple and easy going people. His simplicity makes you his admirer. Kiran Rao ji made me and all of us work on the set in a very simple manner.
