Braugher’s impressive career spanned decades, with standout roles that earned him critical acclaim and several award nominations. He starred as Det. Frank Pembleton on NBC’s “Homicide: Life on the Street” for seven seasons and later played Capt. Raymond Holt on the popular sitcom “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

His talent was widely recognized, earning him multiple Emmy awards and nominations throughout his career. Braugher’s legacy also extended to the big screen, with notable roles in films such as “Glory,” “Frequency,” and “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.”
