According to a medical report obtained by the portal Entertainment News (E!) conducted by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s office, it was determined that the causes of the famous actor’s death were accidental because he had liver cirrhosis.

“Benji died on June 10 at the age of 46 after suffering from “exposure to environmental heat in the context of liver cirrhosis,” the text reads, per the report published by the cited media.

Previously, suicide or an accident was considered due to the American actor’s sleep problems. “We believe he was there the afternoon of the 12th to drop off some checks and never got out of the car to do so. He fell asleep and died of a heat stroke inside the vehicle,” his sister shared with TMZ on July 10.
