Rabbi Shalom Buchner, the late Rabbi Shalom Buchner, one of the oldest and most important Hasidim of Babov, who survived the terrible holocaust and was blessed with a long life, passed away at the age of 99. Baruch Dayan the truth: In the USA, Rabbi Shalom Buchner, one of the oldest and most important Hasidic Rabbis, passed away in the USA and he was 99 years old at the time of his death.

Rabbi Shalom was a Jew of the old generation, full of grace, a true Hasid, and an example of a Hasid who never compromised.

He would frequently tell many of the younger generation about his past and his memories of the past and was even one of the last students of the Rebbe who had the ‘Kedusht Zion’ of Babov ZIA.

In recent years, the Rebbe asked Babov Mr. Shalom to tell his memories and experiences so that the younger generation would know what the previous generations went through.

His son is Rabbi Shlomo Buchner, president and founder of the global ‘Boni Olam’ organization.

His funeral was held today in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn in a funeral procession that left the Great Beit Midrash of Hassidism in Abov and a large crowd accompanied him to his funeral.

May his soul be bundled in the bundle of life.
