Bhubanagiri: The encroachments of the highway department in Bhubanagiri will be removed on the 24th. Parangippet – Vrudhachalam road has been widened. In Bhubanagiri, private individuals are encroaching on the highway department and municipal council places. Due to this, the road is narrow and there is frequent traffic jam and accidents are increasing. The residents demanded that these should be rectified.
Accordingly, Kurinchipadi Assistant Line Engineer Parameshwari, Parangipettai Division Assistant Engineer Jagan, along with the Highways Department should tell the encroachers to remove the encroachments quickly. In case of refusal, they are issuing a notice that the encroachments will be removed on the 24th with police protection and the cost amount will be collected from the encroachers.
