Big business is no longer afraid of a pandemic and is waiting for economic growth, large banks are ready to return employees to work remotely, will the start of the European Football Championship bring profit to St. Petersburg business – read the review on TIme
Pessimism of directors of Russian companies fell to a record low
Large business in Russia is booming after the acute phase of the coronavirus pandemic: more than half of Deloitte CIS CFOs surveyed (56%) were optimistic about the financial prospects of their companies. At the same time, the level of pessimism among them decreased to 4% – the absolute minimum for the entire observation period since the beginning of 2015.
- The optimistic sentiment is associated with the fact that the pandemic has ceased to be something unknown for business (entrepreneurs saw that even in lockdown, people continue to buy and produce something), vaccination also gives hope, experts say. Geopolitics and currency fluctuations remain the main risks.
Banks allowed the return of some employees to a remote location
Due to the increase in the number of patients with coronavirus, Gazprombank is considering the possibility of transferring some of its employees to remote work, the press service of the credit institution told TIme. We are ready to take additional measures in other large banks, in many of them – in Otkritie, Promsvyazbank, MKB, Homecreditbank – a combined mode of work has been formed, when an employee spends only part of his time in the office.
