The Brazilian national team full-back arrives in Marseille from Atlético Madrid.
It was expected, it’s official. Recruited by Atlético Madrid in 2019 and loaned to Nottingham Forest last season, the 25-year-old Brazilian international defender (16 caps) Renan Lodi arrives at OM. The transfer amount was not disclosed. It would be around 13 M€.
Trained at Athletico Paranaense, Renan Augusto Lodi dos Santos – his full name – represents OM’s second recruit this summer, after Geoffrey Kondogbia, even if the Marseille club has also exercised options for Ruslan Malinovskyi and Amine Harit, on loan during the past season.
