DPI Night September 2024 in Guatemala

He National Registry of Persons —Renap— has announced the holding of the DPI Night September 2024a special extended service day designed to facilitate Guatemalans who need to complete important procedures. This event is especially valuable for those who, due to work or other commitments, have not been able to complete their tasks during regular business hours.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 3and in it, 12 Renap offices in different parts of the country will remain open until 8:00 p.m. During this extension of hours, Guatemalans will have the opportunity to carry out the following tasks:

  • Application for a new Personal Identification Document (DPI)
  • Delivery of previously requested DPI
  • Corrections and amendments to documents
  • Issuance of registry certificates
  • Registration of births and other vital events

Renap offices with extended hours

In it department of Guatemalathe following offices will be open until 8:00 pm:

  • RENAP Central Headquarters (Rus Commercial Center): Calzada Roosevelt 12-76, Zone 7, second level.
  • Zone 9 Office: 11 street 5-59, Zone 9, Guatemala City.
  • San Juan Sacatepequez: 6th Avenue 10-61, Zone 4, San Juan Sacatepéquez.
  • Metronorte: CA-9 North (Atlantic Route) 10-44, Metronorte Shopping Center, local 306, Zone 17, Guatemala City.
  • New Villa: 1st Street 3-87, Zone 5, Pradera Express Villa Nueva Shopping Center.

In the departments of Alta Verapaz, Quetzaltenango, Chimaltenango, Escuintla and Huehuetenango, the offices that will be open until the evening are:

  • Coban, Alta Verapaz: 6th Street 11-16, Zone 4, Cobán.
  • San Pedro Carcha, Alta Verapaz: 2nd Street, 12-38, Zone 5, Chibujbu Neighborhood, San Pedro Carchá.
  • Quetzaltenango: CIM, 0 street 37-172 lot 27, Los Tulipanes Condominium, Zone 8, Quetzaltenango and the Quetzaltenango Office, 12 avenue 1-45, Zone 1.

Mobile day in Mixco and extended hours on Saturday

In addition to the DPI Night, Renap has scheduled a Mobile Day in Mixco during the weekendThis activity will take place on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Metamercado shopping center, located on Calzada San Juan, 10th Avenue, Zone 4 of Mixco. During this event, Guatemalans will be able to process their DPI and obtain registration certificates.

Also, on Saturday, August 31, seven offices in Guatemala City, Villa Nueva, Escuintla, Huehuetenango and Malacatán, in San Marcos, will be open with extended hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing more people to access these services. We share the details in the following note:
