Renato Godinho announced that he will be shutting down his social media. In a post directed to his more than 90,000 followers, the actor from ‘A Promessa’ (SIC) detailed his decision and explained the reasons for his break from the digital world.
“I decided to close my Instagram account and live my life away from social media. Before I leave and close the door, I want to say a word to everyone who is interested in my work and in other things that I have found relevant or interesting, and to the brands I have associated with during this time. Thank you to the Óbvio agency (digital agency) for understanding me so well! We will continue together”, the farewell post reads.
“May the world continue to have parents watching their children, couples holding hands dreaming, friends racing on bicycles, solitary people reading books on urban lawns, in short, human beings free from the algorithms that are here to stay and that manipulate us, whether we are aware of it or not. Free will is a trap. Artificial Intelligence is not, and can never be, Artificial Consciousness. That is what separates us from any mechanism, archaic or ultra-modern”, the actor continued.
