Land conflicts are becoming recurrent in Guinea. The attack on the investments of peaceful citizens is widespread in many localities in our regions. Private property, homes, vehicles, plantations, farms and various equipment are often cannibalized. Capital acquired with difficulty by brave people is often thus vandalized.
Sometimes hundreds of hectares of plantations are burned, reduced to ashes, to the detriment of the national economy. Worse, the phenomenon takes on the appearance of ethnocentrism in places.
Therefore the phenomenon must be considered in its criminal dimension and managed as such. It is unacceptable that the drive for economic promotion undertaken by brave and honest citizens is thus slowed down, or even reduced to nothing, under the fallacious pretext of land rights.
In the localities concerned, good consciences must not allow themselves to be influenced by the fanatics, the bad apples of the place. Because ultimately, the consequences of this type of abuse necessarily affect innocent people. This is currently the case in Koliagbé, where peaceful citizens are being arrested.
On the State side, radical measures must be taken to definitively put an end to this behavior from another age.
May Allah inspire us to good works and good living together. Aameen!
