Renfe puts a vinyl Civia into circulation to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the peninsular railway

The train, with the image and logo created to commemorate this anniversary, will circulate on the Cercanas network during the coming months until the end of the year. This themed unit, with five cars, is dedicated to a key date in the history of the railway: October 28, 1848. That day the first line of the Peninsula was officially inaugurated.
To celebrate this 175th anniversary, throughout that year the Matar City Council, together with the Spanish Railways Foundation and the Catalan Railway Museum, have organized numerous activities. Among them, the commissioning of this train, which aims to pay tribute to this mode of transport and promote its use.
