Renfe puts out to tender a system for extracting and treating wastewater from high-speed trains

Renfe Fabricación y Mantenimiento has put out to tender the wastewater extraction and treatment system. This contract is divided into two lots: one, of 4.35 million, for the Fuencarral II Maintenance Base; and another, of 1.85 million, for the Santa Catalina III Base, both located in Madrid.
The works include the civil works for the implementation of the purification system, the implementation of the extraction system and the comprehensive maintenance of the system during the three years of warranty after its start-up. The extraction and treatment of the wastewater will be carried out using evaporation process at the Fuencarral and Santa Catalina High Speed Maintenance Bases.
