Renfe reinforces the service between Santiago de Compostela and Villagarca de Arosa

Renfe has announced that it will launch, as of March 28, seven services that will reinforce the connection of the Atlantic Axis between Santiago de Compostela and Villagarcía de Arosa.

At the moment the programming that unites Santiago de Compostela and Villagarcía de Arosa is made up of eighteen frequencies from Monday to Friday and another fifteen on weekends. With the increase in public services announced by Renfe, there will be three additional options to travel from the Galician capital to this town from Monday to Friday and four on weekends. In the opposite direction, two more frequencies are increased from Monday to Friday and three on Saturdays and Sundays.

With the new circulations, the offer of weekly seats that Renfe offers on Galician public service trains increases by more than 6 percent. To date, the trains of the Atlantic Axis, which connect Vigo with La Coruña, passing through Pontevedra, Vilagarcía and Santiago de Compostela, among others; and the Avant Orense-Santiago-La Coruña, totaled 100,000 each week, to which 6,440 will be added as of March 28.
