Renfe transfers the Davis Cup trophy by AVE from Atocha to Mlaga

The Davis Cup has traveled by AVE from the Madrid Puerta de Atocha station, where it has been displayed in recent weeks, to Malaga where the Final 8 of the Men’s Tennis World Cup will be played from Tuesday, November 21.

Renfe has moved the Davis Cup ‘salad bowl’ to Seville from Madrid, where it has been displayed (see news) in the Club Room of the Puerta de Atocha station to the María Zambrano Station, in Malaga. The operator has framed the transfer in its strategy to support Spanish sports, which aims to promote the railway as a sustainable mode of transportation among high-level athletes to participate in sports competitions in the national territory.
Renfe’s “Spanish Sports Train” program is part of the operator’s support for sports, which has materialized in recent years in the signing of various agreements with sports federations and with the Superior Council to support athletes in their activity (see news ).
