Renfe has transported 2.3 million customers in its High Speed ​​services (AVE + Avlo) that circulate in the Madrid-Valencia corridor during the first year of operation of the Avlo trains.

This figure means practically doubling the clients of these services in 2021, with an increase of 87%, reports the railway manager.

In his opinion, the commissioning of the Avlo trains has been a success, registering an occupancy rate of 89% in its first year of operation.

The offer of AVE and Avlo services between Valencia and Madrid is 15 trains in each direction. These trains came into operation on February 21, 2022, with three frequencies in each direction.

Four of the trains (two in each direction) also stop at the Cuenca Fernando Zóbel and Utiel-Requena stations, with prices starting at seven 7 euros.

Avlo services are zero-emission trains that contribute to sustainable transport and that run on 100% electricity from certified renewable sources.
