It is implemented from today Friday April 5th the “Renovate – Rent” program which aims to “open” 12,500 closed properties, strengthening the real estate market with houses for rent.
According to the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sophia Zacharakisthe application platform opens today Friday 4/5.
The size of the property must be up to 100 square meters and owners must have an ownership percentage at least 50%.
How much is subsidized? up to 10,000 euros. As long as the expenses are made by electronic means, the amount of the subsidy will be up to 4,000 euros.
The program can provide an advance payment of up to 2000 euros and the rest of the money at the end of the work.

Beneficiaries will be able to submit online applications for participation in the program which provides for the subsidy of 40% of the renovation up to the amount of 10,000 euros, with a total budget of 50 million euros.
The conditions are:
- The family income must be up to 40,000 euros
- The property limit should be up to 300,000 euros
After the necessary cross-checks by DYPA, the interested parties will automatically receive information with the approval or rejection decision.
The next step is the immediate disbursement of the anticipated advance payment, which amounts to 50% of the pre-calculated subsidy amount.
