As part of the renovation of the Zona Rosa, in the San Benito neighborhood of San Salvador, Constructora El Salvador began the removal of deteriorated asphalt from Las Magnolias Avenue.

The Construction Company’s field personnel, supported by heavy machinery, began the process known as pavement milling or the removal of deteriorated asphalt that will later allow the placement of a more durable asphalt mixture.

These works correspond to the modernization of the San Benito neighborhood and above all a boost to tourism in the pink zone that is visited daily by nationals and foreigners.

In this place, the Construction Company registers more than 90% progress in the underground channeling and connections project for electrical distribution and telecommunications networks. It is currently in the migration stage from the current area network to an underground network including medium voltage, low voltage, telephony and connections cabling.

With this project, the Government of President Nayib Bukele is completely eliminating obsolete wiring that had never been maintained for years.

In addition, the public lighting system is being modernized with high-efficiency LED lighting that also provides greater visibility in the area.

The modernization project of the San Benito neighborhood was born as part of President Bukele’s strategies when he was mayor of San Salvador, which is now a dream come true through Constructora El Salvador.
