Adif will carry out the renovation of the track superstructure of part of the Hortaleza-O’Donnell section, integrated into the contour track that serves the Henares Corridor lines of the Cercanas core of Madrid, to improve its reliability.

The works, with an investment of 1.2 million euros, consist of the replacement of bi-block sleepers with monoblock sleepers between kilometer points 4/770 and 8/370 of route 1 and between kilometer points 5/694 and 8/370. 700 on lane 2 of the section.
The renovation work will be completed with leveling, alignment and profiling work and the neutralization of track tensions. Likewise, the awarded contract includes the loading and unloading of the sleepers and the lifting and subsequent assembly of the signaling elements.
The Miv Centro 2021-2022 consortium, formed by Vas y Construcciones, Agrupacin Guinovart Obras y Servicios Hispania, Ferrovial Construccion, Contratas y Ventas and Construcciones y Promociones Coprosa, will undertake the work.
