Renovation of public buildings: parliament looks at “the site of the century”

400 million square meters. This is the area occupied by all public buildings in France. Gigantic! In the lot, there are dilapidated hospitals, old schools, administrations with poorly insulated offices… So many thermal sieves that are being overlooked by current aid, of the MaPrimeRénov’ type, reserved for individuals. However, these buildings are a major challenge for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. But also to lower the energy bill of the State, regions, departments and municipalities, which has soared in recent months.
