REPORTAGE – Sunday, May 7, France-Evening went to the debates organized following the screening of the film “The World After 2” by Laurent Firode at the Espace Saint-Michel (Paris, 5th arrondissement), the independent Art and Essay cinema. In this feature film, the director delivers a satire of modern French society, returning in particular to discussions relating to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, wokism, the health pass and the wearing of a mask.
Following the success of the first opus, the previous year, the director renewed the experience, offering after each theatrical release of the film several debates after the screening session. During these exchanges, the spectators were able to share their ideas in order to act in society. Of course, they also shared their feelings about the film.
Actors Elise Lissague and Christian Diaz were present alongside Laurent Firode to chat with viewers of the film. Projections of the “World after 2” and the accompanying debates are organized every Friday and Sunday, at 6:30 p.m. Espace Saint-Michel.
