Berlin.
Second division soccer team Hertha BSC is apparently bringing in squad planner Timon Pauls from Bundesliga club FC Augsburg. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper.
Accordingly, the 31-year-old should also take on management tasks and work closely with sports director Benjamin Weber. Paul’s is scheduled to start on Monday. There is no confirmation from the clubs yet.
In doing so, Hertha wants to close a gap that has existed since parting ways with manager Fredi Bobic. Before his position in Augsburg, Pauls had already worked at FC Bayern as a youth coordinator. (dpa)
