On February 26, Xiaomi is going to hold an announcement event for a series Xiaomi 13 to the global market. The series was already launched at the beginning of last December but only for the Chinese market. Xiaomi is taking advantage of the mobile conference MWC where it will announce the series for the global market.
At the launch for the Chinese market, the company brought the Xiaomi 13 Together with Xiaomi 13 Pro. The same models also reach the global market when an additional device is added to them, Xiaomi 13 Lite. It seems that the Lite model is the model Xiaomi CIVI 2which was launched in China only, under rebranding.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite smartphone – technical specifications
The device comes with a 6.55-inch OLED screen with curved edges, FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The processor of the device is Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 which will come with an operating memory of 12 gigabytes in the LPDDR4x standard along with a storage volume of 256 gigabytes in the UFS2.2 standard. The battery of the device will reach a capacity of 4,700 mAh along with a wired charging of 67 watts.
The photography setup will include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device has 2 selfie cameras of 32 megapixels each, with one designed for wide shooting.

The smartphone comes with display data very similar to the display data of the Xiaomi 12S, up to almost exactly the same. This means a 6.73-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1440×3200, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pixel density of 522ppi, a maximum brightness of 1900nits, support for a billion colors and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ standards.
The processor of the device is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which comes with operating memories of 8 or 12 gigabytes in the LPDDR5 standard and storage volumes of 128 gigabytes in the UFS 3.1 standard and storage of 256 or 512 gigabytes in the UFS 4.0 standard.
