The Iranian opposition news site, which is affiliated with the Iranian opposition, reported this morning (Saturday) that at least two explosions took place at a military base in southeastern Tehran. According to the report, the explosions took place at the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards. The Mujahideen Khalq organization, known as an opponent of the regime in Iran, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Earlier this week it was reported in Iran that the Revolutionary Guards were a target for attacking hackers, with the main target being one of the largest steel plant in the country. During the cyber attack, documentation was distributed from the factory, which was taken by security cameras at the scene.

The same group of hackers, who call themselves the “Predatory Sparrow”, claims that it broke into two more steel mills and that they were also heavily damaged. The CEO of Hussein confirmed that there was indeed a cyber attack on the plant, but that no damage was done. However, production in it was silent for some time. It was launched by a factor or state, and the fingers were usually pointed at Israel. Yesterday it announced: “Today we carried out a series of attacks against companies in Iran’s iron industry that work with the Revolutionary Guards and Basij in response to the cruelty of these organizations.”
