Report an attempted child abduction
on August 10 information has been received that a patient has arrived at the Talsi hospital who is under the influence of alcohol and cannot say his name. The person was asked to be taken to the place of residence, as medical assistance is not required.
It was reported that two badgers were run over in Dundagas parish, near the “Mežvidi” bus stop. The animals are about 500 m away from each other. The information has been transferred to the responsible service. Information has been received that alcoholic beverages are being consumed in an apartment on Dundagas street in Talsos, as a result of which persons in the specified apartment are fighting and behaving loudly. Discussions were held with the tenant of the apartment, generally accepted social norms of behavior were explained. At the time of the arrival of the police officers, no noise was detected in the apartment. The person admitted that there was a noise about half an hour ago. It was reported that in Talso, on Lielaja Street, a visitor to the event behaves inappropriately and conflicts with a security guard, disturbs the other participants of the event. After talking with police officers, the person voluntarily went to his place of residence. It was reported that an unknown person punched another person in the face and tried to kidnap a child in Talso, on Dundagas street, near the “Nestes” circle. They left and immediately reported the incident to the State Police. The identity of the attacker and other circumstances of the case have been clarified. The work was taken over by the State Police.
It was reported that a person under the influence of alcohol was lying on the side of the road in Kaltene. The identity of the mentioned person was checked. on August 12 received information that trade is taking place in Mērsraga parish and elsewhere on the sea coast, possibly without permits. It was explained to the person that municipal police officers are already working on this information. Information has been received that in Talsos, on the side of Liala Street, the car is not secured against free movement when there is no driver in it. The car moved, and the woman left her car’s spare tire in front of the wheel. Municipal police officers found that the information would be confirmed. on August 14 information was received that several persons were possibly under the influence of alcohol at the bus stop in Spare. Municipal police officers found that three persons were sitting at the bus stop with an unopened bottle of alcohol. People have picked berries, delivered them and are waiting for the bus to go to Talsi. Information was received that a cyclist had an accident in Talsos, on the side of Rīga street, entering a ditch. The bicyclist looks like a homeless person who may be under the influence of alcohol. Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that the NMPD was working, the bicycle driver was not under the influence of alcohol and was not homeless either. The driver of the bicycle pressed the brakes too hard, which is why he crashed.
