At the Republican National Convention on Monday, participants prayed for the release of the hostages kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7. The final moment of the first day of the event was marked by a prayer delivered on stage by Leora Levy, a Connecticut Republican and a member of the national leadership of the Republican Jewish Coalition.

Levy asked God for peace in Jerusalem and for all the children of Abraham, also mentioning the hostages who are being held against their will. She expressed hope that God would protect them and hasten the day of their release. Levy stressed the importance of praying for those who have been captured and are suffering from abuse.

Levy also remembered retired firefighter Corey Comperator, who died during an assassination attempt on Donald Trump last Saturday. She offered her condolences to his family and said his memory should be blessed.

Earlier, “Cursor” reported that Biden called himself a Zionist in a conversation about Palestinian Arabs. Biden said that if Israel did not exist, every Jew in the world would be under threat.
