As the Dictionary of the Spanish language, disgust es so much the action or effect of repulsar (‘discard’, ‘deny the intended’) as a ‘strong condemnation of something’: «The Consistory has expressed its strongest rejection of these events». So, it is not convenient to use instead repudiate, what is form of the verb repudiate (‘reject something, not accept it’): «The union repudiates discretion».
