In Namakkal district, there has been a complaint that the authorities have not paid the deposit amount due to Avin agents.

In this situation a few agents petitioned to stop the supply of milk and refund the deposit amount as the agents in the areas where milk sales are very low could not continue as the distribution of Avin milk was not regular. However, a year after the petition was filed, the agents complained that the authorities were dragging their feet without paying the topaz amount.
The agents said, “The authorities have been dragging their feet for over a year, stopping the sale of milk and filing a formal petition for a deposit.”
