Due to the increase in water flow in Cauvery river, flooding has occurred again and water has entered the Aororam residential area in Pallipalayam. The victims have been safely accommodated in the Market Pettah camp.
Yesterday at 2:00 PM they were given food by the Revenue Department. Then a large number of people came from outside and the crowd increased and there was a push. The old people in the camp suffered a lot.

As it is not known who is inside and who is coming from outside, the crowd is increasing as food is being served to everyone.
Therefore, if the camp occupants are given tokens, there is no chance of anyone from outside coming during food distribution, so the authorities should take action, the campers have requested.
