Renewable energy sources (RES) can be used in the field healthcare of AzerbaijanDay.Az reports with reference to the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
“With the assistance of the organization of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (ANT), with the participation of the leading consultant of the Department of Strategic Analysis and Forecasting AREA Ravan Azizov, the conference “Strategy of the Health Workers Trade Union for a Green World” was held. During it, within the framework of the panel “Renewable Energy and Human Health” it was noted “that renewable energy sources can be successfully used in the healthcare sector of Azerbaijan,” AREA notes.
During the conference, discussions were also held on the topics “Clean environment and green growth policy”, “The impact of climate change on human health, epidemiological analysis within the framework of holistic health”, “The impact of climate change on food and its role in human health”, “ Preventive measures to eliminate the impact of natural and anthropogenic factors.”
It should be noted that in Azerbaijan by 2030 the share of renewable energy sources in the country’s overall energy balance will be 35%.
Let us recall that recently the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, President of COP29 Mukhtar Babayev, said that Azerbaijan seeks to attract all sources to climate finance.
