Navy rescues 39 refugees adrift in the middle of the sea near the Spanish island of Gran Canaria.
39 people, including women, were stranded in the middle of the sea near Spain while on a boat journey from the Sahara desert in search of livelihood.
Upon receiving information, the Red Cross, and the Navy, rescued the sinking wooden boat and brought them ashore. It has been revealed that all 39 people are from the West African country of Senegal.
