Ammu, Kavya, Subiksha and Aparna drowned while bathing in the pool there. After a long struggle, the villagers rescued the 4 people and sent them to Ramanathapuram Government Hospital. Only Aparna has been admitted to the intensive care unit. Devipattinam police are investigating.
